New Barrel, New Caliber, Which Direction?!

And by direction, I mean where do I purchase and which brand? I'm wanting to go .243(6mm), 1/8th twist, 26"L. This will be for a Remington 700 action.

I've been looking at different brands, Bartlein, Hart, Krieger, and they tend to be within the same price ranges, and another common similarity is the wait times.

I looked on Butch's Reloading website and they have a Bartlein in stock, 28", for $320, but I want to make sure these are normal prices and I'm going with the best bang for my buck for quality also.

Weight is not an problem, I have a sling to solve that issue so no fluting is necessary.

Thanks for the input on what you guy have gotten the best experiences with.

Go for the Bartlein, Franks team makes some damn fine barrels. If its in stock ready to ship, cant go wrong.

Id say 320 fir match barrel is good deal... as far ss rem SA action midwest hust got sold out 448.00 .brunos has them i think but its 574.00..

Awesome, thanks everyone. Now for your opinions on where to get it installed? Ive talk to, but never done business with, Predator Customs out of TN and they seemed nice, and just a few hrs drive away. Not sure on pricing to thread, installed, etc.

Just like to hear who you guys choose, for quality work I dont mind to pay shipping.
