I found two of these at a local gun shop. This sounds cliché but they came in as part of an estate to be sold off.For scope's that are over 20 years old they are in great shape showing light ring marks and the odd rub here and there. I know the history of their origin (XM-25) and their supposed original retail price. I also have seen that they still command a decent price in the used market due to their limited numbers.
Are any of you guys using one on a regular basis on one of your guns? What are your impressions of it. I bought one and am considering grabbing the second one even if only to use on a couple .22 trainers or an old Krico Sniper I have. What value would be associated with one of these in today's market?

Thanks in advance.

Great scope. 144 minutes of travel and crystal clear. How much are they asking for one?

Picked it up for $375 all in.
Mounted it on my vintage Krico 6.5x55 and shot at 920m today. Impressed. Glass is very nice, could easily make out individual impact marks on a 12"x12" plate painted white. As stated by Ratton, massive elevation. Have it on a 0moa base and still have 46moa up at 920m.
I think I'll pick up the second one after the weekend.

One I saw looked just like the super sniper 10x HD. Probably made in the same OEM factory.

If it's like 300-500 bucks I'd consider it but any more than that and I'd get the above instead.

Yes, the SS series scopes were heavily based off of this design. SS's are made by Tasco are they not? Or some kind of association there?

While functionally there is probably little between them , These will carry a large premium over the SS series if no other reason than nostalgia/collectability. I think that either one of these scopes could find a home for $700-$800 dollars to the right person.

Here it is all mounted up on an old Krico. I will eventually pick up some lower rings but I had these kicking around so I used them.
