Yeah, looks interesting. As much as it's fluff and whatshisface, I think the last two films were pretty good. This one looks predictable but good ol escapism. VFX look good. So I'm gonna go see it.

I agree. Looks like this one may be a formulaic " shoot 'em up" rather than having the great and original (well, as original as ANY movie 100 years into the industry) plot.
Might be a GOOD shoot 'em up, though...
The second movie, chronicles of Riddick, was very, very good.

Good but not great movie, would have been better at 115 minutes. Nice booby scene. Definitely left open for a sequel.

100% Agree with this. The only thing I truly disliked is....they need to fire the music composer....there was some happy stuff that just fucking killed the scene.

I went and saw it this last weekend. I liked it. They had tie ups to both of the previous movies. I really liked the dog in this one. I recommend it even if it did start a little slow.

Saw it and was disappointed.
Plot was weak.
Nothing to build tension as the movie progressed.
It leaned real heavily on CGI effects but no decent story line.

Pitch Black is still far and away the best Riddick movie in my opinion.

Yeah, it was so-so.Some good parts but long as hell and really just a rehash of the 1st pitch black story line for the most part. Could have been better IMO.
