If any of you have not been to this event, this stage especially is one of a kind. As we say "NV needs some type of light to see, especially if you cannot see you hand in front of your face if you're in a cave..." Well this is one of those times IR light is a must, this cave renders NV dead without it. Great stuff....

What IR Light/Laser for handguns is everyone using? Has Surefire come out with their new models?
LAS/TAC2 lasers and glocks. PVS-14 Built-in IR Illuminators. Which surefire models are you referring to?
I personally have been handling both, especially the X400. Our main office is not too far from SF and we've had them here on several occasions. We can tell you decisions are being made to make a Class 1 systems from this. They now understand having a 5mW IR laser on a handgun does not make much sense.
Edit, yes we know some like to place the X300 types on a AR type platforms but the true intentions of these systems are for handguns and a 5mW IR is just too darn strong.

Around the mid 90’s I began shooting USPSA matches at a club level. After some exposure to what other shooting sports were out there, the desire just grew. IDPA, DSM, GSSF, Bowling Pins, Steel, Action Shotgun, Tactical Rifle, Precision Rifle, Sporter Rifle, 3 Gun, and Multi-Gun. During this time, also sought some professional instruction and became NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.
I have an abundance of gratitude to the people that have taken the time to introduce me to some of these shooting sports. They shared their passion, experience, and resources along the way. As they have done for me, I feel a personal responsibility to do the same for others. It is truly rewarding to help grow responsible shooters from a people who may have never even had the opportunity to be around firearms.
Family support is continuous. My wife Heather (although not currently competing) has enjoyed competition many times, and has done well in USPSA, IDPA, GSSF, Pins, and 3 Gun”

"I’m Keith Bourgeois Captain of the RANGELOG.com Shooting Team shooting out of upstate New York (Marion, New York to be exact).
I started shooting in 2007 and the current titles I hold are the 2013 New York Multi Gun Champion and the 2013 New York State IDPA High Industry and 1st Master.
I shoot major 3-Gun and pistol matches all over the East Coast. One of my favorite matches is held on the military’s West Point Army Base called the Combat Weapons Team 2-Gun Challenge. The match is held in memory of Captain Andrew Houghton and is put on solely by the cadets of the academy. The stages combine physically stressful challenges along with long and short range courses of fire. Best of all, all the proceeds from the match go to the Houghton Foundation (The Captain Andrew R. Houghton Foundation - Home).
I look forward to representing TNVC at he the AR15.com Rockcastle Pro-Am not only because they are supporting the sport but because they support our wounded vets as well.
