The rifle is coming in on Monday and we are immediately leaving on vacation to Ohio so I will be able to shoot at Thunder Valley on Sunday. I can't believe how fast the wait went, it went terribly slow at certain points but overall the time really did fly by. The rifle is 6.5 creedmoor Remington 700 action, Bartlien 26" barrel, timney trigger, with a McMillian A5 stock and I know it is going to shoot lights out. It is going to be the longest 9 hour drive to Ohio waiting to get to my parents house and shoot it though. My wife is taking the whole thing like a champ though, we were supposed to leave on Sunday morning and when I saw the Fed Ex delivery date of Monday I told her I wasn't leaving Charleston county without the rifle. She just rolled her eyes and smiled so all is good. I will post pics and results once I get everything setup and shoot her. And a definite SHOUT OUT to Marc Soulie and Spartan Precision, this was my first build and Marc and I talked for quite awhile and he explained little details and was great to work with. Always cool to talk too and he knows his shit so I never doubted that the rifle would not impress. I won't hesitate to have him build another once I sell my liver and can talk the wife into getting another rifle built.

My 6.5 creedmoor build is about 6 months out and I can't wait. He is a great guy to deal with.

Well the rifle shot unbelievably! I couldn't believe how well it shot and I can't express how happy I am with it. I put it in for cerakote today so in 2-4 weeks I will have pictures up.

I'm glad it's all you had hoped for and that I was able to get it out to you in time for your trip. That was down to the wire LOL.

I love it when customers get so much enjoyment out of my rifles. It really means a lot to me and makes all of the long hours worth it. Thanks for the good words you guys :)

Finally got back the rifle from cerakote and got it all set back up. I will post groups hopefully tomorrow, I am waiting on a call from a buddy to head to the range. I tried to stick the rifle in bed in my wife's spot but she didn't find that near as amusing as I did. I shot at Thunder Valley Precision and within two shoots with the aid of Shooter app on droid was hitting a 12"x12" piece of steel at 1000 yds, it was cool about the first three times then I called it quits considering I didn't want to waste the ammo when the rifle was making it so easy

Very nice!

Thanks! I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with the rifle. I learned little things though after my first match that are already going into a notebook for my next build. Just the little things like I should have spent the extra for a muzzle break (like Marc suggested.....). And this next time I think I am will start with the scope and then let that dictate the rest of the build.
