As for living in Denver I can see both sides. Coming from Idaho where you can spend a whole weekend in the mountains and see no one else I hear you on the people in Denver and outdoors. There is a growing liberal crowd here and our current state legislature sucks a big one.
On the other hand, it's beautiful, has a great economy and the average person around here is pretty laid back and friendly. The economy is strong and if you prepared right the 15 round mag ban is a bit inconvenient and chafes at ones principles but is not prohibitive if you already had all the mags you need. Not that I'm "ok" with it, it was an asinine attempt to create the appearance of "doing something" even though it was against the will of the majority of people and obviously is completely ineffective at stopping crime.
