Do these require any modifications the the receiver? That's the only real downside to the CDI bottom metal for the FN SPR line of rifles.

The one shown looks like it's for the Hinged Floorplate replacement.

Do you plan on making one that will drop into the FN OEM DBM inlet (squared off front)?

We made the trigger guards for US Repeating arms before FN pulled the plug and moved the company to South Carolina . We then made the first FN police units ( Winchester M70 black stock clone ) . I used the same foot print on these so they would drop into a model 70 or Police standard inlet . They use a AI magazine that will accept a loaded round OAL at 2.965 short action and 3.775 long action . We will be making the FN squared front in the future . First I have been asked by Weatherby to make the Mark V Stealth unit but the FN broad inlet type will be coming . Thanks Dave

Based upon PTG's website, it appears you are correct. Solves the minor machining issue...but gives you a whopping 1 extra round. Weak.

It will use the Accuracy International AEI magazine that is 5 rounds, single stack, single feed. They, as stated, are designing an eight round mag, which I guess will be a single stack, single feed. Keep in mind, the 5/10 round AICS mags WILL NOT work with this system.

I just put a order in for the long action bottom metal. Are they ready to ship now or is there a wait time? I noticed the new model 70 bolt you have on the Winchester performance page, When will they be available? Will the bolt work in the New Haven model 70's with control round feed or just the new FN models? I'm really looking forward to trying all these model 70 goodies!! I really appreciate you putting out all these upgrades for us model 70 guys! Thank you.

I've got a 7mm RM Model 70 and trying to find a stock that would be compatible with a DBM. Looks like I'm in the right place. Any recommendations for a stock that will mate easily with this? Can I buy I stock with a hinged floor plate and then let this replace it? Thanks for any help you can throw my way.

could the .308 Winchester Short Magnum Box Magazine be used with these for a rifle shooting .270 WSM? I picked up a super shadow in 270 WSM for cheap and am looking to upgrade the stock to a hogue and will have to buy new bottom metal anyways. So if this works with the .308 short mag box magazine then consider me sold!
