I have a SIG 970 in .270 Winchester topped with a Bausch & Lomb 3000 3-9x40 that shoots lights out with any load you run thru it.
Here are some volunteers for the freezer my dad collected with it on opening morning a couple of years ago. He was using the Federal Premium factory load with the 130 grain Sierra BTSP that day.
Its a real shame these rifles are no longer available.

I've taken a fair share of deer with this rifle...can't figure out why they stopped shipping these to the States... best hunting rifle that I have owned !!!
I have heard different stories about why they are no longer imported but most probably it was due to market share and wanting to cater to higher end clientele.
