First off, I am retired mil. This irritates me.

I thought one joined the military, then did what you were told to do?

Besides, isnt there regs saying you arent allowed to make political discussions in uniform? Theses chicken****'s say things and hide their faces.

I am not saying I do not agree with the sentiment, but if they are man enough to post these thoughts, they should be man enough to own up to them.

Sure but your own (mil) lawyers said NOPE and managed to hang quite a few who joined and did what they were told. Nuremberg and Hague sounds familiar?

So while irritation is annoying and tolerable to certain degree stupidity and lack of integrity is much worse condition to be in.

Sean, I hear you BUT... why should we render aid to the very same people we have been fighting in IRAQ for the last 10 or so years who have returned home to Syria, Egypt and Libya (and others) with new found war fighting skills and a warped religious zeal wanting there version of change.

Its truly a sad situation for the people in Syria who are caught in the middle.

For most of the American public this connection is lost and the American media doesn't seem to want there to be a connection...

I see the above pics as an attempt to make us say "hmmm, what's going on here?" maybe wake a few people up.

I agree, there are a huge amount of examples that show folks following orders still did the wrong thing. I get your point that this is an attempt to call attention to something that they feel is wrong.

I still take exception that they are using their uniform as a prop but hiding themselves.

I don't really care to get into another conflict. There is something about being the worlds police force that doesn't sit well with this Marine. I joined to defend our constitution, not others.

Syria is different from everything else we have done recently. IF we go into Syria's civil war, we have allied ourselves with the Muslim Brotherhood, and AL Queda, who are supporting the REBELS against al Assad.
Are you all so ready to jump in the sack with those who blew US up, and then danced a victory dance in the street?

The reason these men hide their names and faces is quite obvious. To publicly contradict the POTUS will only end your career as many Marines and Soldiers have discovered. I bring to note Former Marine Gary Stein, who did so both publicly and showing his face. The UCMJ is clear. These comments are against policy regulation for OFFICERS, but not for Enlisted. The current administration has shown a current behavior of ridding the forces of generals down to enlisted of any who speak against it, or refuse to carry out such orders that contradict the constitution.

If you ask me, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Queda, and essentially radical islam in Syria is wrong. al Assad has at least maintained a level of international peace in the local area at eh expense of a few muslims. I have no issue with that. SO he gasses a few Muslim Brotherhood and Al Queda family members, big deal. You all take issue with that too?

Credit for that is still up for debate and as it seems most likely there was a case of intermuslim love that caused the incident. For me the more such love they show each other the better we're off...

I say stay out of the Syria and let them handle it, no one wins in this deal, not the people or the world. Sad state of affairs. I don't understand John McCain he must have gotten a good deal from someone to behind this. This is the perfect trap for the US is to be spead out all over with no forward plan. How can you help when everone is your enemy. We attack some county that has not attaced us then Iran attacks us Syria attacks Israel we try to defend Israel and defend ourselves from every other Arab country while still in Afgainistain so now we become the modern day Romans, DEFEATED, not good.

WE ALL KNOW ITS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS...let the mongrels fight it out, let Russia step in an help Assad gut the MB, AQ and the FSA should they continue to align themselves with MB/AQ...

We have no National Security Interests in Syria OTHER THAN THE DEFENSE OF ISRAEL...PERIOD...

Let the mongrels fight it out...then and only then attack and kill anyone who attacks us or Israel.
