The local (45 minutes) shop has Reloader 15, Reloader 17, and H4831. I know there is a 243, 260, 6, and 6.5 load thread but its mostly 243 and 260 and most of those guys are using 4350. I have started buying parts for this build and would like to go ahead and stock up on my components. Thanks in advance!

RE17 is the same burn rate as H4350 and users report highr velocity, although it is less temp stable. but it is a viable sub for H4350.

Out of those choices, I'd go with Reloder 17 first, then maybe Reloder 15 as a last option. If you're shooting 140s, try some Ramshot Hunter if you can get your hands on it as well.

If you plan on shooting lighter (120-123 grain) bullets, R15 is a good option. I worked up a great load with 123 Scenars and R15 for my 6.5X47. If you are still 3-6 months out on a completed build, wait and see if H4350 doesn't start showing up. Another good option is N540. It is a double base powder, but it shot the best groups of any powder for me with the 139/140 weight bullets.

We've been using RE15 for the 123 and lighter stuff for a while and it works great. I've heard others are using it for 140 gr long range target shooting with the Berger VLD hybrids. I bought RE 17 for the 140's but haven't had a chance to work up the loads yet.

I think you could work up serviceable loads with either IMR-4064, H/IMR-4831, or Ramshot Hunter for the 139-142gr bullets, and H/IMR-4895, W-760/H-414, or Ramshot Big Game for the medium weight bullets. H/IMR-4198, W-748, or TAC for the 95-107s.

Nothing is a perfect match, but these should be rather close. The above are my best guesses.

Not trying to rub salt in the wound but possibly things are looking up...Local shop here in MT got in some Hodgon yesterday and I was able to snag the lone 8 pounder of H-4350 in the shipment.
So maybe they are starting to finally ship some?

Anything with the Reloader prefix is tough to find short of Re 10 or 12. Haven't seen 15 or 17 in ages.

One pound cans of VARGET have been available here lately as well. But running $26- $29 a pound! Ouch. I liked the old $20 a pound much more.

Crazy times.
