I got a call from Show Me Guns here in Missouri a few days back and he asked if I wanted to demo some cans he has gotten in for his inventory. I say sure as I am looking to buy a 223/5.56 can anyway.

I show up and he has A lot Of Cans, TBAC, SWR, SILENCERCO, INOVATIVE ARMS, MIDSTATE to name a few.
I start putting cans on and shooting and when I am all done I now am getting 2 more Thunderbeast cans. Its crazy they sell themselves.
Wish everyday was like this. :) I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

First off... Not one can does everything best but these were the ones that covered all my needs the best for the applications presently needed. I am glad to add them to my collection.

I decided on the 223A because of the sound, tone, shot repeat ability (cold and hot), workmanship also. On my weapon every shot from 1 - 10 were in the same hole. Will be on my every day coyote calling rig. With it the total length of barrel and can will be 18 inches. :)

The 22L-1 because suppression, tone and workmanship, plus it is light as a feather made of TI.

I have a Specter II that is first class in all those but heavy because it is SS, needed a can that had all those quality's minus the weight. :)

I have always found TBAC cans and CS to be first class so these are not my first or my last from TBAC.

I would personally, no matter how good it suppressed, buy a sealed 22lr can. I am a big fan of TBAC cans, but I just cant do sealed and 22lr.

Why not? .... If cleaning is the worry they are cleaned the same way. The dip is effective for both TBAC cans and any serviceable non alum can.

Until a few years ago there was no such thing as a user serviceable suppressor, that is part of the reason some user serviceable suppressors, well suck out loud. Some are made to such loose tolerances so the baffles will come out there is no effective means to trap the gas, some will seal themselves up if you don't use half a can of anti-seize on them and many are just inaccurate because they are not reassembled correctly.
