Pro-Precision-Rifles - customer work pics.

Dumb question of the day for you, after a reciever has been trued as well as the lugs and raceway should the bolt be much smoother to operate? Also if the bolt was cerakoted would that make it let 'smooth'?

On my Tikka, I would say it was about 98% of what it was without the finish. After a small amount of grease and a couple dozen times racking the bolt, it's like new again.

Need more pics guys. Show off your cool stuff! Joe Musso are you out there? Need your help brother.

Thanks,
Paul

Got my bolt back today from PPR and could not be happier with it. Huge thanks to Paul for all his hard work and quick turnaround. Ill post some pics of his work tomorrow

Some recent bolt knob variations for a very good customer/gunsmith of mine in Texas. Thanks Mark.

One of my personal favorites to date. Vortex bolt fluting and a Badger knob coated in Graphite Black Cerakote.

Paul

A very nice Tikka that I just finished up. This has Vortex bolt fluting my Tactical Barrel Fluting that is deeper at the back. Thanks Andrij.

Pointman,

If the bolt body is the problem, then yes it would. Can you give me a few details about the gun. Is this a new rifle by chance? PM me if you like.

Thanks, Paul

You definitely have it going on Paul! The combination of fluting on the bolt and knob is amazing.

The little shop monster is growing. Giving my buddy a run for his money.

Luckily I stumbled across this thread. This is some Great work! I know who I'm coming to when I need my bolt fluted.

Sir you have a gift, I don't know how I got off track of having you do my Surgeon bolt, will be in touch.

Paul did an awesome bolt knob job on a CZ 452 for me. My pictures don't do it justice so Paul, I urge you to post some of your .22lr know work.

Such a cute puppy. Mine (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog) is now a year and a half and weights about 160 lbs and has no clue how big he is. Loves to play and just pull people around.

Great work on those bolts by the way. Long time fan but have just never sent one your way. I'm sure it will happen sooner or later.

Finally got everything together and the bolt looks more "at home". I can't thank you enough, Paul!

Thanks again,

John

Definately need to get this done, is there special "hide" pricing or is what's on your site current? Also any pics of vortex fluting with a surgeon knob?

Are most of these pics regular R700 bolts with fluting and an aftermarkent bolt knob attached to it? They look great!

Wish I didn't click on this:). I am going to have to send my bolt to you once I get my rifle back. Great looking work!
