I'm looking to pick up a few 25/30 rounders and probably some 15/17 rd mags for my 6.8 build. I've read good things about the Barrett and some so-so reviews on the PRIs. The C-Products and AR-Stoners are definitely cheaper, but I don't skimp on mags unless they work. I tried searching, but I can't operate the new system worth a damn.

I use PRI mags in my Noveske 6.8 and have had no issues in the 200 rounds or so that I have ran through them.

That's good to know. PRI seems to always make quality stuff, I think a lot of the magazine criticism is aimed at the Gen 1 mags.

Barrett and PRI are considered the best.
I have only PRI and the only issue is that in my lower not all drop free.
I am not necessarily blaming the mags or the lower but the combination.
I have a 6.8spc built with a JD Machine lower... it is too tight.
I tried some of my other lowers... CMMG> OK, Seekins>too tight, Mega Billet>OK.
I am now in the process of replacing the JD Machine with a Mega.
Just the way it is, YMMV. :(

I have been running a 6.8 as a patrol carbine since 2005-2006. In that time I have tried CProduct mags, Barrett mags, PRI mags, and D&H mags. The Barrett's are top notch, and run 100%. I received a bad batch of PRI mags earlier this year, which were replaced with working mags by PRI in a very timely manner with no drama. I have worked my way through a bunch of CProduct mags, and currently have around 10 that work great. I have one of the new CProduct Defense mags that seems to work fine, but is a very small sample size. And I have one D&H mag that won't work at all, again a very small sample.

The AR-Stoners are junk and do not feed well at all in my 6.8. All I will even consider are PRI mags as they have been flawless. PRIs are a little heavy.

The Barrett mags are great if you don't reload or plan to shoot the SSA 140gr load. Those mags only allow a COAL of around 2.26".

The PRI mags had some feed lip issues, PRI will fix them though. I had a few that I fixed my self. PRIs can usually take a COAL of around 2.29". These mags are like the HK416 mags of the 6.8 world.

The newest gen CPD mags have a COAL of 2.29"+. I have a few and they run fine. Chad will take care of you if your mags have problems.

Check out 68fourms.com if you are into the 6.8, great bunch of guys over there.

I use PRI and Barrett mags exclusively and have not had issues w/ either. I prefer the 15rd PRIs for prone, bench, hunting, etc and the Barrett's on the rare occasion that I run them like someone else is paying for my ammo.

FYI 6.8 PMags will only work in dedicated lowers. They will not work in current AR15 lowers.

I've been running AR-Stoner Mags and ASC Mags through my 6.8 and both have been running flawlessly. No jams or malfunctions with these products.

I have PRI and C Products mags for my 6.8 rifle.

No issues all all. The PRI are 10 and 15 rounders .
The C products are 5 rounders.

Barrett, ASC, PRI, C Products have all been great for me. I only have one AR Stoner, but it has been fine, too.

I've got a number of the Barrett mags for my 6.8 and they are awesome. Work flawlessly. Hold 30 rounds no problem. Get the Barrett mags if you can.

I have two Barrett 6.8 mags and they work flawlessly. I would not hesitate to purchase again.
