I've got a 300WM with a Badger 30moa base and a Bartlien #4 contour barrel. Just bought an S&B 3-20 w/ a 50mm objective and I need rings lower than 1-inch height. I've seen Seekins makes a set of .920 rings. I'm thinking an .885 or similar would set me as low as I can go. Anyone know of any lower?

The turret housing on the 3-20 will most likely interfere with the badger rail with any rings lower than 1". To answer your question, APA makes the only 34mm rings lower than the Seekins .92".

There's less than an eighth inch between the bottom the turret housing of my 3-20 SB and the base with 1" high badger rings. Probably about 3/32 or .090.

I tried to mount my SB 3-20 in Seekins 0.92" rings -- the bottom of the turret house WILL interfere and touch the base.

I recall Spuhr SR-4000 is 1" high. Should leave clearance.

I had .0015" clearance with seekins .92" and a badger 20 moa rail on a 700 s/a. Many others were no so lucky. I strongly suggest you go with 1" if they have not already shipped.

Seekins .92" height works fine with my S&B 3-20. 1" isn't that much higher so go that way if you want to be sure. I use the 1" on my 5-25x.

Just grind some clearance on the top of the barrel with a disk grinder if the rings are not high enough.

That's funny as I saw a guy do this to a GAP rifle at my range. I didn't say anything but was seriously cringing inside. Had a Leupold scope and their cheap twist in rings on it.

you can relieve the center of the rail a bit once you figure out your eye relief. wouldnt do it on a integrated receiver/rail setup

As Rob mentioned, you cant get much lower than Seekins 34mm rings
