Sig 516 vs. Barrett REC7

Hi,
the choice of AR-15 clones in the EU is not as wide as in the US therefore I would like to ask the guys familiar with those two rifles: is Barrett so vastly superior to Sig that it is worth the extra money?

Don't have a Sig to compare to, but the REC7 is a hell of a fantastic 5.56 if you're looking for a piston-operated gun. They did a good job on the gas block for use unsuppressed/suppressed with a Surefire can.
