I had lost a lot of faith in the election system, however, I woke to good news today.
Two Colorado senators were recalled and kicked out yesterday. One the head of the senate and the other from a strong Dem. area.
Both had pushed our stupid gun control laws to the max.
I hope it gives other people in other areas the push to start doing something about these draconian laws. There is hope if all unite and fight the right way.

Without going into yesterday's events, I would like to post a great kudos to companies such as MagPul and our own great 'Hide contributor Massoud (aka Justin, who started KRG and did the Whiskey-3 line of products).

These folks stood up to their beliefs and after saying that if the ridiculous Colorado firearms legislation passed, they would move their companies (and their jobs and tax revenue) to Second-Amendment-friendly states, they put deeds with words and followed through. Justin and his team, for example, upturned their lives and spent a lot of $$ (and took a lot of risk) to move everything to Idaho...

When you're thinking about which chassis system to buy for that new build... or which magazines to purchase when you're stocking up... keep in mind that we have among us people who stand up not only for their beliefs, they stand up for OUR beliefs. THESE are companies we should be patronizing... not only because they make great products, but because these companies are the definition of a good corporate Citizens. Moreover, owners like Justin and the guys from Magpul are the epitome of good citizens, period.

Sadly, few voters realize that it is the laws at the state and local levels that have the most influence on their day to day lives.
Many of the laws they pass are written by special interests, and the state politicians alter a few meaningless phrases and submit them as their own bills.
Some are even so lazy that they don't even bother changing anything, and they submit the bills as they were written for them, verbatim.

Definitely a good, but rainy, day here in Colorado, giving me hope that I will have to discontinue my boycott of this place.

Maybe Colorado won't be nearly the gang rape that California is....
