I sent off a 40x to BlackOps for one of their conversions. Here is the pic I took while sighting it in. Need more time with it, but it feeds very well. Mags are very well though out. I only worry about the polymer tabs on the mags rubbing against all the bottom metal mag releases. Scared they will wear and then fail to lock in.

Here is a pic.

Another Big thanks to Mike and the guys at BlackOps. Many of us have wanted this for a very long time, but anyone who has taken the challenge can tell you it was not cost effective unless you specifically tool up for it and the price Black Ops is charging is a tremendous deal for the work it took. A fellow shooter (and custom gunsmith) told me after he completed one that he would not do another.

Thanks Been! I've "been" waiting for a few more of these to come off for review before mine heads North! Did you send the entire package or just the barreled action? Wondering about fitment to the chassis (not that I can think of why it would be an issue).

I also would have concern over the polymer lip. Can you post a pic(s) of the mag? Obviously a rimfire is going to go through a LOT more rounds than a CF which means more repeated use of the magazine.

damn that looks good

i wanted to do this conversion for a Savage MKII but the chassis is going for $1300 on gunbroker

We are all insanely jealous, over the top cool, man!

AI should invent a 22rf drop in conversion for their AW action!

Awesome setup! Please post more pix and a range report!

Very nice! It looks like you have an almost carbon copy trainer for your AIAX (3rd pic I believe). Can't get much better than that and WDE!

22 at another level - very nice package - and who says it has to be practical - certainly the lesser of man sins one might commit!!
