I know nothing about ar's. I'm looking for something that's is very uncommon. But I like uncommon. Looking for an 22-250 in a ar platform. Been looking on the Internet and Olympia arms is about the only one I can find. Didn't know if any one se knew anything about them. Or where you can even get an upper. And help.

I looked at the 2013 Olympic Arms catalog. I did not see a 22-250 or any AR-10 type rifle.
The 22-250 is too long for an AR15, it would have to be loaded in an AR-10 platform.

Forget the .22-250 and go .243WSSM. Check out D-TECH Arms. You can thank me later. ;)

Oly's 22-250 is a modified AR 15 platform, requiring specialized upper and lower. I hear Harris makes a 22-250 AR10 mag to go with your new AR10 build;) try your favorite search engine (again :) )

+1 on avoiding Oly Arms like the plague! While I continue to see people rave about their "newer" offerings, including the 1-off .22-250 rifles, I have seen (and fixed) far too many POS rifles, uppers and parts in general in the past from Oly to ever trust them with my money on their gear.

The other consideration would be the .25 WSSM which is also a VERY nice offering from Dtech (Dedicated Technologies).

I have the oly umar in 22-250 and a dtech 243 wssm. Hands down the oly is more accurate with half moa groups the norm with handloads. The dtech has a lot of trouble staying under an inch in the wssm. I use the oly on pdogs out to 500 then switch to a 243 ai rem 700 to go farther.
