S&B PM II 5-25, CCW, MTC, LT, Mil/Mil (Not sure if I want to pay $500.00 for a Horus reticle).

or

Premier Reticles (Or is it Optronika now?) 5-25, CCW, MTC, Mil/Mil, Gen 2 XR.

Is there any OBJECTIVE advantage that one scope holds over the other scope?

Since you have already owned at least one SB, the minute you get a Premier in your hands you will have no doubt as to the superior optic. The fit, finish and mechanical feel of the SB is far superior.

Out of those two, you cannot go wrong either way.

However if it were me, I would go with S&B.

Thank you for the replies gentlemen. It's neat when the experts concur with what a peon like me WANTS to buy...

My S&B has the MSR reticle, which is really a great reticle. When I bought my USO 3.2-17, I seriously considered the Horus reticle myself, but wasn't sure about ponying up the extra dough. I ultimately decided on the Gen II XR, and I really like that reticle too.

I'd skip the S&B considering what they've done recently for their warranty status.

You wouldn't think you'd need warranty but then something happens and the $3k+ optic goes sideways you're crying in your lap because the company won't support without you kicking in.

Oh, and I've seen more than 1 of them go T/U at inopportune moments, every optic can break and I watched a 375 kill an S&B and a Leupold in 1 day.
