Have I missed anything, going with the 308 in 16in, I want a accurate rifle out to 400-500 yards thats easy to maneuver around obstacles that packs a punch. Thanks for the help. Going to sit on it and think about for a few weeks and make sure its exactly what I want.

You will like that set up. Mine is very similar, however I have an ACS, and the normal rifle length guard.

Mine drives tacks, when the monkey behind it doesnt make it look bad.
 
I have a similar setup in 6.5cm and a few minor differences. So far, I LOVE it.

Thats a awesome rifle SeaBassHWD. I like the red thermal dissipator, I been thinking about changing to red.

sounds nice, the only thing I would consider is the UBR stock, its actually pretty heavy, and I could never get comfortable behind mine.
 
Just be careful--once one JP finds it way into your safe--they multiply. I bought its baby brother a month after shooting my LRP for the first time, and am now trying to justify that I need either a vtac or gladiator as my HD gun!

Why yes, yes they do.

 
Shoots great, super trigger, never had ftf, fte issues. It is a little loose compared to the LRP-07, it's more like a typical AR regarding upper/lower fit. I'm noticing that is a little heavier than my KAC SR-15, but it is way more accurate. Different rifles. Very happy with it.
 
You have almost the exact same set-up that I do except I went with the 18" barrel. I put a Swarovzki Z6i brt scope on mine as I wanted to be able to take out human targets from point blank out to 600 yards. I also put on the JPSRTS sight for up close shooting, but I really don't need it as my Swarovski has a true 1x magnification and with the illumination I can use it as a RED DOT Scope too. You are going to love you're new rifle, JP rifles are high Quality, very Accurate, and extremely Reliable. Oh and I love the UBR stock, it fits me well.

Jevan126 sure like to see some pics of your awesome rifle. Did you go with a large compensator or the standard compensator. Thanks
 
I went with the large compensator, I have been wanting to post pictures for quite some time but don't have a camera and my phone will not download to a computer. I was going to go to the range and post pics with a test but never got the chance. I hope to still do it very soon. I have only shot it at a 25 yard indoor range as I don't have any other options at the moment.
 
I like these pics a little better. The LRP-07 is a sweet .308, shoots softly, shoots better than I can, and very light. De luxe rifle.




The V-Tac is a blaster, pure and simple. It will shoot < than 1" with 69s. JP trigger, I did put in a Gunfighter charging handle. Standard spring/buffer. The new JP QD swivel socket is the tits. I need some buis, that's it.

 
Great pics--I really like the two tone look of your rifle, makes me want to send my upper away. Wonder if they can cerakote my upper without remving the barrel, and saving the laser etchings on the handguard. Really like the titanium grey JP uses.

They are some nice pics, i'm going to wait one more week and make sure i have what i want before i order. Its getting hard to wait. I have changed to standard compensator, syrac ordnance/jp gas block with lockable adjustment,
3.5 trigger.
 
Liking the shooting range Stang02. Wish I had that kind of land here in PA.
 
my 2 brothers and i purchased this land several years ago and its great to be able to get away from the city noise.

You know that you slide the charging handle back forward and lock it, just like a normal AR, before you hit the bolt release correct?
