New Big Horn Build-First Custom

I have to start a post for my first build as I am super pumped. This isn't a build like putting a Remington 700 in a BC stock kind of build.

Specs:

Big Horn TL2 with standard bolt face, 20 moa rail
Timney 510 U set at 2lbs
Hawk Hill Heavy/Medium Palma contour 1-8 twist barrel
.260 reamer .2975 neck, .060 freebore
Ross Schuler 3 port brake
Mcrees G5 Chassis
Seekins Rings
GDMR2

I am fully stocked with 140AMAXs, H4350, Lapua Brass and BR2s.

I hope to get it chambered and screwed together in the next few weeks.

I will post some pics as I go.

Hell yeah! even though I have one of those Rem 700 in a BC stock. I dream of having enough in my bank account (the one the wife can't see) to pull off something like this. You'll have to keep us posted

I have one to, not knocking it.

I am super lucky, I just got married to a great lady, we saved our asses off. I told my wife that this was my wedding ring. The kinda ring that can put meat on the table or shot paper or steel all next season in rifle matches.

But most important; where did you find some H4350? I'm almost out and have been looking for more since Feb. Thanks.

That's so funny! That was my justification for getting my first full custom build. Sounds like an awesome build, please post range report when you get it, interested to see results with the Hawk Hill barrel.

I secured 32 lbs off of a fellow Hide member. I had to drive 5 hours to get it, but it was worth it.

At long last I bought 3lb of H4350 today. I've been calling my local shops every week for the past few months, and Adventure Outdoors (Smyrna, GA) answered today, "We have plenty." There were 14lb left after my purchase, so any Hide folks in the Atlanta area that need H4350 - go for it; I'm sure the supply won't last long.
