Hey guys,
So I'm a long time shooter and I just recently joined this site. I have always been interested in reloading my own ammo, just never got around to it. I want to learn how from someone who does it well and who better to ask then the some of you guys. So with that I was wondering if some one on the site Lives in or around Vancouver, Wa who would be interested in teaching a Marine how to reload. If there is some one please PM me and we can grab some coffee and talk. Thanks.

Reloading is a skill that can easily be learned by reading several books or watching some youtube videos for things that you run into questions about. Lyman Reloading Handbook and The ABCs Of Reloading are a couple of books that will give you a good understanding of the methods used for reloading.
I started reloading 2 years ago by reading these books (and a couple others) and doing my own research, I had no help from anybody sitting down with me and I figured it out easy enough. I started reloading rifle cartridges and then proceeded to reload handgun ammunition, I probably should have done it the other way around. Reloading the handgun ammunition is much less involved compared to reloading for rifles, but both are easy enough to figure out. Starting with reloading for rifle cartridges made me appreciate how less time consuming reloading for handguns can be.
The main thing that you have to do is pay attention to details and develop repeatable procedures. If you get bored doing the same thing over-and-over again, reloading may not be your cup of tea.
