...where things just go right. And you don't feel like you're wasting your time and money and energy.

Not ALL my best groups, but I'm content. The one measuring .456" is (I'm rather certain) the best group I've ever shot out of any rifle...just went back and looked at some older targets and didn't find anything smaller. 100 yards, 5 round groups.

Icing on the cake, I just purchased some Remington Eley Target Rifle and Club Xtra at the local Basspro...last time I saw any, I presume it hasn't been stocked since, was when they had it in stock 9 months ago.

Row 1: SK Rifle Match (dialed down .2 mil on the third target, wind picked up on the righthand target)
Row 2: Lefthand target, SK Rifle Match. Middle target, Rem Target Rifle. Righthand target, Club Xtra.
Row 3: Rem Target Rifle (I chased the flier (1st round) to not ruin things on the lefthand target, not too badly at least)
    Row 4: Rem Club Xtra

Might clean the bore before I go out next, might shrink the groups a small amount. But, it seems this is still the average this rifle (my CZ 452 Varmint) will shoot regardless of midgrade "match" ammo. I have yet to get any Lapua flavors, which I have read will still likely yield better results.

    Good shooting.
Refreshing to see a sheet of bulls like this.
Far too often it goes more like this..."was at the range today, shot a .456 (group 2) like I always do...".
I 'think' my Savage is a sub 1moa gun...but add me to the mix and I have a lot of 1.5" groups, which I'm perfectly fine with.
