So as far as range finder and spotter scope together in one.. It would be a lot easier and would be good idea. But you can calculate range with spotter scope with a simple equation. Wen shootin at known size of target

This should be posted in Observational Devices, but I digress... What you really want are Image Stabilized binos with a reticle, laser wind meter, built in range finder/ballistics engine.
All of those exist in separate products that cost thousands of dollars each, so I'm sure an all in one tool would probably be an obscene amount.

Except a lot of what you are paying for is the optics again and again.

True. Look at the Leica BRFs. Good glass when I looked through them, so they play binoc and LRF just fine.
But you've got to admit, if somebody makes that much of a trump card in the precision world, they're not going to let it go for the sum of it's component's prices. Particularly if they're going for a .mil contract. (basically a given)

you can easily combine both units yourself and save the added expense a mfg. of combining them internally for you. just get a unit or tripod base that has a way to attach rails or has mounting options for additional devices. Zeiss and the new Bushnell tactical unit come to mind. Then just attach you LRF to it and make the adjustments to sight them in close enough that requires minimal movement to range and spot the targets. this may be a bit bulky but then again if you have a spotting scope out to begin with you r most of the way there. Doing it this way also allows you the most options cause you can combine the spotter that you like with LRF you like so you get the best of both world rather than being limited.
