Both of my girls drew antelope tags this year, this is Taylor's first big game kill of any kind.

We didn't get her 6 Creedmore done in time for this hunt, so she used my .308 instead. One shot @ 410 meters with a 165 Accubond did the trick! I couldn't be more proud, both girls have been hammering away at targets any chance they get. Now back to the hills to see if we can come up with a buck for her sister!

We ended up finding this guy this afternoon. This is also Siera's first antelope, we had an awesome stalk on this buck. She ended up dropping the hammer on him at 72 meters. We had a blast today, they are already chomping at the bit for deer season to open!

Great Job, tell her congrats.

My girls hunt speed goats with me as well, some real quality time (especially when we are in a pocket of no cel service and no txt messages, lol).

Good for her, that's a nice looking antelope and some great pics...I'd be very proud...congratulations to both of you!

Good to see your other daughter did well also, what an opportunity to have a Dad that would take you hunting. Antelope are such neat animals, definitely on my bucket list to get a nice buck that I can put on the wall. Congratulations to the the young ladies!

Congrats man nothing better then taking your kids hunting. My daughter has 4 years till she can pull the trigger but she is always out with me when I mention hunting. She takes after me and can't sleep the night before the hunt. Again congrats on the harvest and the great memories that you will have.

Super hunt w/pops Id have to say. On top of that when asked what they did the other day they can proudly say "We hunted & shot antelope w/pops" instead of " oh nothing, we just texed all weekend long...HA!

There is nothing like hunting with your kids, Congrats to both of your girls.

Now that is what I call awesome!! Congrats to your girls... and my hats off to ya Brother!!

Well done bro!. Pat them on the back for me!

Damn, those girls are growing up.

I'm taking our two oldest boys out this weekend for their first antelope.

Congrats! I can't wait to get my boys out for antelope. Is there an age restriction in MT and/or WY???

In Montana they have to take hunters safety and turn 12 during the hunting season. Both of my girls were 11 when they took the class, but have birthdays during the season. I'm glad they changed the rule or both of them would have had to wait another year to hunt.

Congratulations and good on you for taking the girls hunting! It means a world to kids to go with their dad when they can. And to get to do what he loves is icing on the cake!

p.s. Don't miss a minute with them that you don't have to. I know with my three kids, they were out the door and off to college and I never knew where the time went. It seemed like a few weeks ago and I was walking my oldest to kindergarten. She was still holding my hand by one finger. She's in grad school now. The middle child is teaching gymnastics and the youngest is a senior in college now. I tried putting the brakes on time, but it don't work. You really have to savor every second you get with them now.

It doesn't get any better than that. Congrats and awesome shooting. Maybe someday when they're married they can teach their husbands how to shoot:).
