I have a Savage 110FCP 338 Lapua that wont extract some of my shells. Does anyone have any info on this.Ive taken it apart and cleaned the extractor and could see nothing wrong

What brass are you using? Is the bolt hard to lift?

Nosler Brass. The bolt wasn't to bad to lift. It was my 3rd time reload on the brass and had a full size die run over them.

Nosler brass. The bolt was a little tight to lift on a couple but not bad. The brass was on its 3rd reload with a full size die

what does "the bolt wasn't to bad to lift" mean? sounds like you might be shooting a hot load. Sometimes that can push the extractor past the detent ball (as the web expands more than it should) and it does not grab the shell at all. If that is the case your load is too hot, back off.

Just call savage. I had that problem with my model 10 .308 and they sent me 2 new ones for free with free shipping. There must've been a fair number of complaints. No biggie, great CS.
