i have a question, i have seen online i can sub magnum primers for standard primers. i have WLRM and i was wondering if i could use it with IMR-4350 and IMR-4831 in my 30-06? i have 150,168 and 180 gr hornady bullets

thanks
Tim

Go down a few grains and work back up. The chance of the same charge shooting great with the change to a magnum primer is slim to none so you're going to have to start from scratch anyway.

Three below your standard should do it. Go back down far enough to do your ladder/velocity test all over again and find your nodes. If your starting at book minimum a lot of books (hornady especially) are perfectly safe to start at book minimum with a magnum primer but you might want to start 1gr less just to be safe. If you have a hornady book, they are very low on the low end so just start at their minimum charge for whatever bullet and powder you're using.

one more question, would it work with IMR-4064? on the load data i use loaddata.com and its lower than hornady
