Gonna start shooting 155's in my .308. Have loads figured out for 168's. I'm hearing that the 155's really shoot flat.(straight) I have Benchmark and Imr8208Xbr. Any advice or fav's?

I'm using 44.9 8208 with 155gr 2155/2156 Sierra's in Hornady Match or Win brass, getting around 2725-2750 at 90+ degrees in a 21" Schneider AR10. Not the fastest, but very consistent and most often around .75" at 100yds. Easy hits on 6x8 steel at 500yds.

I have plenty of Lapua 155's and brass, but been hoarding them a bit and working with Sierra's for now. Would drop charge weight back 1.5gr in Lapua brass and work back up. What's max range you'll shoot 90% of time?

I recently loaded some 155 scenars -.010 of the lands over 8208 in lapua brass ignited by CCI BR2 primers. I loaded from 43.1 to 44.3 in .3 grain intervals. They all shot 1/2 moa or better. 43.4 gave me an unbelievable 1 hole group of .09. Mostly luck I am not ashamed to admit. 44.3 came in at .328. No loads showed pressure signs so I may load a few at 44.6 and 44.9 to see if accuracy holds. Unfortunately my chrony is out of commission so no velocity data. I am a big believer in 8208.
