Trying to find out definitively about this scope. -800363- Some websites list 1/4moa adjustments. Some (including Weaver's) list .1mil or .36moa.

So which one is it? Have these scopes always been .1mil adjustments or were they 1/4moa at some point? They all list the same MPN (manufacturer part number?) or don't list it at all and just have the EMDR 3-15x50 illuminated as the title.

Has this scope with the EMDR reticle been changed but kept the same MPN from moa to mil at some stage?

I believe there is something called a Universal Product Code (UPC) which I guess is the bar code numbers or something?

Can anybody with this scope comment if yours is mil or moa and provide a UPC. I've emailed Weaver asking for clarification but I've got a gun with no scope and I need to get this sorted ASAP and don't know how quickly they respond.

The current Weaver catalog lists both 1/4 and .1mil models of the 3-15x50 tactical with only 70moa of adjustment. But lists only the one illuminated EMDR with .1mil and 100 moa of adjustment.

I do not want to end up with a ffp mil/moa as that's just gonna bea PITA.

Maybe someone will know when the EMDR model was introduced was it 1/4moa or perhaps it was always .1mil for that particular model with that particular reticle.

thanks.

I've owned 2 of Weaver model 300363. They are 0.1 mil adjust, 5 mils/rev. 29 mils total elevation.

The regular mildot model(not emdr) can be had with MOA adjust. It's just a bungle on Weaver's site.

Edit to add: first one I had was bought when they first came out and it was mil. I dont have a UPC for it but I'm 99% certain that model number 300363 has ALWAYS been mil/mil.

A call to Weaver would get you an answer in a couple minutes.

Thanks RD.

Weaver Optics responded within minutes. and then a few minutes after that to my reply email. Can't complain about that for service.

As you said, the mild dot model is available in both moa and mil adjustment. the EMDR model was only ever offered in mil adjustments.

I bought my Weaver Tactical EMDR on the used market, so I do not have the original box or anything else that would indicate the original UPC. But it is indeed model 800363, and it has 0.1 mil knobs w/ locking turrets and ~30 mils of elevation travel.
