Stolen Issue Gear? Or OK to buy? USMC MSR Stove

Anyone know if the crop of USMC Small Unit Expeditionary Stoves (MSR XGK with bottles and spare parts) are stolen gear or are they over runs that are OK to buy?

Did you Guys actually get to use these things? I remember supply had those Coleman multi fuel squad stoves from the WWII era but they never left supply because someone might steal them I suppose.

They're open market. TD used to have the kits with bottles as well.

One thing to be aware of, these kits don't come with the GK (or GX, I don't remember) nozzle (gasoline). You don't "need" it, but it does help quite a bit with flame control.

Speaking of which do we have a section for Stolen gear? We should get someone to start one. It would be awesome to post up serial numbers of stolen gear or rifles so people can find their belongings back.

MSR makes lighter weight stoves for a lot less money. that diesel jet is cool though. i wonder if you could buy just that

Gear adrift is a gift I was once told.....I don't think policing gear is this places problem but that's just my opinion.
