I'm starting a new build with a Stiller TAC300 action. Have both the .473 and .532 bolts for it (going to be a switch barrel). Would like to use CIP length (3.850") mags in it.

The AI 3.715" 300 WM seem to hold a 30-06 case and feed it just fine. It appears that RUM cases will not fit in the AI 300 WM mags, guessing they will work in the AI 338 Lapua CIP mags? Will the AI 338 Lapua CIP mags work with .473" type cases without bending the feed lips? How about the CIP length mags Accurate Mag makes?

Do the AI and Accurate Mag CIP mags fit the same bottom metal?

You will need to modify the 338 mags to run 300RUM. Of course the 338 mags WILL NOT WORK with .473 cases unless you are bending feed lips and who knows if you will have enough case head presentation with the feed lips bent in that much. AI and AM will work in the same bottom metal

Ok thanks, thats what I figured. Its would be a wildcat based on the 338 RUM case, with the shoulder knocked back to the same location as the Lapua case. So, it probably will work without modification in the Lapua mag.
