I'm looking to order rings and bases for a 54 Match. The rifle is probably early '70s with dovetails on both bridges, straight bolt, wing safety and not drilled and tapped. The scope has a 30mm tube with a 50mm objective. I would like to use the Burris Sig rings with inserts and a Weaver type clamp. What type of bases would you suggest and what ring height? I have had problems with scope height on a .22 where mediums just barely allowed the bolt handle to clear the objective when cycling the bolt. Is this a concern with the 54 Match?

The EGW 11mm made for the CZ452 works fine on mine.
With your choice of Picatinny type ring.

Bronco, thanks for the recommendation. I ended up ordering the delrin covers, from JP Custom Spings, that take the 11mm rail to perfect dimensions for the Burris Sig. ZEE rings. When it's put together I'll let everyone know how it worked out.
