Yeah its a very long bullet, and I load them at Pmag length, So I cant fit alot of powder in there, there going 2350 FPS

I'm seeing service rifle loads in Hornady' 8th Edition for .223 that push the 80gr A-MAX single-loaded to 2750fps, loaded to 2.390" COL.

What max COL can you load to, and have you looked at IMR 4007 SSC?

Their Varget load maxed out at 2600fps for the 80gr at 2.390".

I have only used Varget with the 85s

I have a good load I use with the 69s with Benchmark
