Training Courses LR training in Colorado or Wyoming?

I do a class for Trigger Time Gun Club in Longmont. We ended for the season as they are prepping the land for competitions but come 2014 we'll start back up and should be expanding the class offerings. They basically offer a class every month from March to October.

...they are prepping the land for competitions...

Local LR competitions?! That would be welcome news! Always hoped CO would host some comps so I wouldn't have to drive to all the surrounding states.

The competitions are happening and will be at a minimum monthly LR matches. We are shooting a practice one next week, and we started out by setting 50 targets from 200 to 1150 across 10 stations. The hope is to build on that and expand it.

The classes started off as 2 day basic precision rifle. With 1 day of classroom and a few shots indoors at 100 then we do a full day at the range from 200 to 1150 where most shoot anywhere from 100 to 200 rounds. Check the Trigger Time website for pricing.

The 3.5 will be more encompassing with only 4 hours of classroom and 3 days out on the range. We are also talking about an ELR class as you can shoot to 2700m there with no problem.

Up until now it's been purposely kept very small.

I'm certainly interested in the monthly LR matches and I'm going to try and make it to both the basic and ELR classes this coming year. I assume the matches will be open to non members for a fee?

Crowdog7,
Rifles Only does annual classes in Colorado every summer. We will be back again in May/June, 2014. We will be offering a variety of courses, included a Precision Rifle where we will shoot out to a little over a mile. We will also be doing a Fieldcraft course as well as Handgun/Carbine courses. The dates have been set for the Fieldcraft (May 16-20) and we should have the other course dates set within the next week or so. If you want, you can email Lisa at Rifles Only and she will notify you once we have those dates set.

As a TT member, are they going to make this available on a broader basis? Even weekly or bi-weekly practice would be great.

I am down for a monthly match at TT when it happens. PLEASE keep us in the loop Frank. I would make the 5 hour drive once a month...

wow - I feel lucky now :) TT is only like 30 min from me. Of course Ft. Morgan is a bit farther away - but still pretty close ! Frank weren't you running something out at CRC as well - are those no longer going on?
