Gunsmithing 300 Blackout Magazine Follower

Can someone confirm for me that a magazine follower from a Rem 700 300 Blackout is the same follower as the .223? I called Remington, but they could not confirm.

300 blkout is a 223 just cut down and resized so the followers are the same

The barrel should be the only rifle component that needs to be different on a 300 blk vs a 223.
