Rifle Scopes Nightforce Beast Wait Time

Euro optic still might have preorder spots available. It should be out around Christmas...
I've spoken to NF a few times over the last 6 months or so and they've been very helpful and sincere in their projections for the release date, only to have that date come and go. I've had to buy a couple of other scopes, one in the same price range as the BEAST, while waiting for it to release. At this point, as much as I was jazzed about having one, I'm kind of at the point that when it eventually comes out (I'm merely guessing early 2014) I'll decide if I can still justify the money I had set aside on my pre-order.
On balance I'd rather they release the RIGHT scope late, then shovel shit out the door to get orders filled.
As KM mentioned, the only way to get one (other than guys here selling their pre-orders that they don't want/need anymore) is going to be getting on a pre-order with Euro Optic or a few other vendors, since NF quit taking orders on them a while ago.

They're going to be filling back orders in Australia for at least 6 months. Given the size of the market in the US...I shudder to think.
