Being of "mixed religion" I got to make the Challah while my Daughter is roasting the turkey.

Kind of sad that the range is closed today or I'd work off some extra "stuffing" by making a couple trips back and forth to the 300 Y line.


BTW, anyone doing "Deep Fried Turkey" this year? I've had it roasted in and out of a bag, barbecued, smoked, and even delivered from a Deli, but never Deep Fried.

Should I put that on my "bucket list" or is it just "turkey"?

if you never deep fried one, you don't know what you are missing!

it's excellent, but you have to be careful with the oil and such, gotta google what goes into the prep, but i tell you it's worth it - especially in peanut oil.

The former Sheriff in my County teams up every year with a Talk Radio host and sells Deep Fried Turkey just prior to Thanksgiving as a fund raiser. Maybe next year I'll buy one and try it before I invest in the cooking stuff.
