Haven't been able to find much in terms of reviews for the Leupold VX6 and Mark 6 lines. Anybody have real world comparisons or reviews? The VX6 line seems very lightweight for the magnification and 30mm tube, making it seem very appealing to put on a hunting rig.

Check out BigJimFish's review on the main SH page for the Mark 6. He discusses some comparative points with the VX-6.

BlackFoot,

Here is my VX-6 review. The 30mm tube is very solid, yielding 75MOA of accurate, repetitive turret adjustments...but the VX-6 3-18X50mm is only 20.4 oz...Very Nice...all at a Great Price! :D

Blackfoot,
I use the VX6 2-12 w/illum and CDS on my hunting rifle. It is a fantastic scope and I love it. I used it in Africa for close shots (37yds) and 200yd plus, also used the illum in low light situations. I have not tried the Mark 6 tho. The VX6 is far and above superior to any other Leupy I have, combined with QD mounts it's a hell of a fine hunting scope.

Linky link to hunt thread and pics of scope.....

I've been considering the 2-12. Any concerns with the lack of parallax adjustment at 12x?
