Night Vision Adapt camcorder to pvs-14

I have the TNVC pvs14 camera adapter ring (PVS-14 Camera Adapter ? Tactical Night Vision Company) and want to attach it to a camcorder. I have looked at a few in stores and do not see any compatible with this adapter. I am hoping someone more knowledgeable about camcorders can suggest a compatible model.

I picked up step up/step down rings from the local camera store and b&h.

My understanding is that besides the thread issue some camcorders cannot focus correctly with the pvs14.
