Hello. I'm sort of new to this site. I have been reading a lot on the forums, but this is my first post. I am kind of new to the bolt action world, and I currently have a Surgeon Scapel .308 in FDE with the Accuracy International chassis that I am looking to sell. It only has 300 rounds fired, and I was wondering what a reasonable price would be to sell this rifle for with the bipod and 50 extra Lapua match rounds included? I have it listed on Gunbroker for around $4300. Would you consider that a fair price considering the low round count, and the fact this gun sells brand new for $5500 or more?

Why don't you pay the fee and list it in the new member sales section, rather than trying to be crafty and ask your lame ass question with your detailed description? Oh, on your gunbroker listing you are claiming this rifle is "very rare" due to its color? It's a FDE AX chassis with a Cerakoted FDE barreled action.......it's not rare.

I don't think they are $5,500 or more new.
There is a 6.5 Creed in a AI 2.0 for sale on Surgeon's site that is priced at $5,080

Seeing as how the barrels halfway used up and the most accurate shots of the action and chassis have been used up, my best offer is $2K.

SNIPERGHOST, I think it is a fair price. I also would ask if the price was ok because I have listed stuff before and after you have no one inquire or show interest you start to wonder if you have it listed too high. I guess I am wondering why you would want to sell such a nice piece of hardware in the first place but good luck on your sale. I dont think you are too cheap to list it here, if you were cheap, it would be a Carcano instead of a Surgeon.

At the time of the post, you did not have it listed in the for sale section.....good try, but time stamps are a bitch.....you fail. Don't play the innocent role...it's not fitting for you. You claim you have no knowledge of bolt action rifles, but you knew enough to buy one of the best custom built rifles being produced, along with a high end optic. You obviously knew a ball park of where to set the auction starting bid at for both the rifle and the scope......seems we know a little more than we let on.
Get some thicker skin and don't be shady and you'll enjoy your time here.
Of course I know a little bit about bolt action rifles. I'm not going to just drop that kind of coin on something, and know nothing about it. But unlike you who evidently has no life, and has all day to sit on a website in his mother's basement, I don't keep up with the trending prices of these particular rifles. That is the reason I came here to ask a fair price. Like I said before, let other people who will actually not be a total ass give me advise.

Oh. I understand why he questioned my intentions. I actually posted an ad for sale very shortly after I posted this. I was under the impression that since I have been an active member for 45 days, I could post for free in which my FS post was posted. I took it down because someone suggested that I post it in the newbie section in which I understand. Do you really think $20 is going to kill me with me having a rifle of this cost? It's Trevor being a straight ass about it that pissed me off. That's the reason a lot people don't post on forums because of piece of shits like him who think since they have a high post count they are really something and talk shit to the other people.

Twat Waffle , $4300 is a fair asking price and should fetch that coin pretty easy.
Could just look on the Websights you are selling your rifle on for the going price of similar rifles. Not rare. Should be ez.
Trevor: I'm really starting to enjoy this. Hahaha. That last one was actually pretty funny. Anyways, I'm not going to sit here and act like a kid talking shit back n forth. I'm a well respected private collector on the web not much at all in the sniper world, but more in the class 3 and H&K world. I'm pretty sure you are highly respected as well. However, no matter how you took my initial post whether as an advertisement or not, there is much better ways of going about it than the way you did. Whether I have thick skin or not, I am member on many other forums, and the well respected people there have a better way of criticism. I'm glad you have several surgeons. They cost big coin. So does the machine guns and German rifles I have collected over the years. It just shows we have good taste in our firearms unlike a lot of people.
