So, I get my new Wilson case trimmer today, delivered by the big brown truck. Right now I'm in a tizzy and of course no techs available at Sinclair. I ordered case holders for my 25.06 and my .243 and that's what I got. If I take a brand new, never fired case it slides in perfectly. However, if I take a fired case that has been sized with my bushing die, it will not slide in far enough in the case holder. What's going on??

Does it slide in far enough to hold it tight and concentric? That's all that matters

Yes they do but...Wouldn't that then require different settings, based on how far the case enters the case holder? I think one of the trimmers advertising features is that once set to your desired trim length there's no adjustment necessary for every case.

The length of the trimmed case is determined by the distance from the cutter to the adjustment screw. The case holder just makes sure everything is lined up.

Nope. The case will be in the same position regardless of how far its inserted into the holder.

Thanks guys. Called Sinclair and the service tech told me exactly what you guys said. I guess I was expecting to see the case necks completely out of the case holder.
