Looking for load data exchange for a 257 SAUM. I take 300 WSM annealed, then size to 300 SAUM, and neck that to 25 cal. Barrel is 1:8 twist, for shooting 135 to 150 gr bullets. Best load so far is 135 gr at 3150 fps with Retumbo.

I know I'm going to come across as a jerk but, 7mm saum is overbore, 6.5 is pushing it, but with great results. I think you're a pioneer here bud, and for what, to shoot low bc bullets? There was a guy on Long Range Hunting trying to convince the world to make a 270 saum.

Until the Europeans embrace 270 & 257 calibers, you're never really going to have decent bullets to shoot, Berger's heart really isn't into it, and Matrix only takes it so far. IMHO, you're on a uphill trail, a steep one at that.
Other than that, sorry I don't have data.

And more, these short mags are about the hardest thing to get to feed, and I'm guessing this is a hunting rifle, so get ready to dump 400.00 into a mag setup, when just straight Rem BM would suit a hunting rifle fine.

Case capacity to bore ratio with 25 SAUM is less than 300 Win mag. I make my own bullets, BC of my 257 caliber 135 gr is .630. I have had success with a 1:8 25 WSSM and 135 gr bullets at 1000 yds and beyond. Single shot bolt guns always feed. Rifle is built to F-open weight regs. Intent of rifle is to shoot 2000 meters. Ask for info and get prejudiced opinions. You came across as a jerk? naw. It was worse!

Sorry Dale, my opinion wasn't prejudiced, I don't have a dog in the fight so to speak, just an opinion. How did you arrive at this bc? Who has, or how have you confirmed it?
If your bc is correct, and you decide to market them, you may be on your way to becoming the next Walt Berger! Good luck.

As for a prejudiced opinion, yours of me????????????????

Dale,
let's start over, your original post was vague as hell, you never mentioned you had access to a decent bullet, never made reference to the gun you would use. You just asked for load data for a case that nobody has heard of.
Think about it, what did you really expect? Other than a few, most of us are wildcatted the fuck out. Look down a cartridge chart, if you could find a complete one, the new hot one resembles another one somewhere, but with the new, now we find some way to manipulate brass to make it.

For the input you gave to start with, my response was somewhat spot on.

I thought someone must be experimenting with this cartridge as dies for it are listed on CH-4D's and Redding's websites. Dies are also listed for the 257 Pronghorn which is the 270 WSM necked to 25 caliber. Only reason 25 caliber isn't a viable option for long range shooting is commercial bullet selection. I have shot several one-mile shoots and have hit a 24" X 24" target with a 7 WSM, two different 308's, and a 6.5-284, now its time to do it with a 25. If I wanted one rifle only to shoot 1000 yds + without much fuss or case-forming it would be chambered 7mm Rem Mag.

Cool, and I do apologize if I came across as an asshole, wasn't my intention. If your bc is close, I see no reason why you can't do the mile with it. I've been beside a guy drilling a mile with a 6.5 WSM, with a bullet with a lot lesser bc.
I guess I can offer some advice, try that new Norma 217 for powder, seems to be available, and velocities are good in the overbore 6.5 wsm. It probably wont work well in the 7mm wsm, doesn't in my saums.
