I wanted to take a minute and write a formal thank you letter to SilencerCO/SWR. These guys went above and beyond in assisting me with a repair that I needed on one of their suppressors. Some of the backstory:

About 3 years ago I purchased a SWR Omega 30. This suppressor was a thread on model and has been shot on several calibers. While the accuracy was good I felt that something could be improved so I moved to shooting sub caliber rounds (less then 30cal). It spent most of its time on a 6.5 Creedmoor. I performed a test with it on a 308 bolt gun vs a semi auto 22. But before any of that took place I had a rifle builder check its runout on a barrel that he had done the work on. He told me the can had a considerable amount of runout, something more then acceptable. I believe it was .003" but I cannot remember exactly as the 3 year time span has made it difficult to recall 100%. So I moved it to testing on a 22lr and then after the testing noticed the baffle strike that was caused by a 308 bullet.

I called SilencerCO and explained the situation to Andrew. He told me to send it in for CQ testing and they would report back. The next afternoon I got a phone call and it was Andrew. He told me it was to far out of spec and they could not let something like that back out into my hands. I feared the worst, that I would have to have it destroyed and replaced. Only to wait that 9-12 months to get the replacement back in use. He explained that the tube was still in good shape and could be salvaged. They were going to completely rebuild my suppressor with my existing tube. What I got back was a brand new Specwar 7.62 with QD feature. They also included 2 muzzle brakes. I was blown away at the top notch treatment and service. I told them whatever damage I had caused I would pay for. They refused to take my money! I just got it back today after a 3 week turn around process. I was blown away.

This is my THANK YOU to them! Your customer service is way up there with only a few other companies I have dealt with and you have secured a loyal customer for sure. I plan on owning more of your products and hope that everyone else can take something away from my experience. It's nice to see that firearms companies still care and want you happy with your product.

I will post some pictures of it and possibly a comparison video with another suppressor. :D

Silencerco/SWR is located about 20 minutes from me in Salt Lake City, UT. They guys there are top notch and they take care of their customers.

Glad to hear this. I have 4 Silencerco supressors waiting for stamps. I bought 2 Sparrows for my boys plus a Spectre II and an Osprey for me......I'm broke!

ive got a spectre 2 on the way. def gonna have to look into their other suppressors when i get some more money rolling in. awesome to hear about ur experience. puts all worries away

Always heard that they were top notch for customer service... Good to know since I am so heavily invested in them!

Sparrow SS and Osprey .45 are in the safe.

Spectre II and 5.56 Saker are awaiting approval.

Now, for the real issue at hand?

Is this 7.62 Saker a 'one off' custom deal or a pre-production or prototype of something coming soon!?!?

Silencerco is well known for taking care of their customers above and beyond normal service. Pics!

You got before and after pics on the rebuild? I got a saker 556 pending and really want a sparrow and saker in 762.

I don't have any before pictures as I never used the suppressor much. They actually converted mine to a Specwar 7.62

How do you like the Specwar KYS?

I just got it in yesterday, with work and the rain I haven't shot it yet. But my initial impression is the brake design is the best I have seen on any QD suppressor. The locking mechanism to secure it to the brake is the fastest I have used besides Surefire.
Now, depending on its performance at the range this could be a new favorite. I think it's one downside is the weight. It is a bit heavy but for what it can handle I will take that trade off.

They are good people. Had a customer who had his M92 9mm barrel threaded. it was done so poorly that he had a baffle strike on a 45 Osprey. The fixed it and fast.

I'm glad to hear about their customer service. I'll most likely be purchasing an Octane from them in the next little bit and quite possibly a Specwar. I'm between Specwar and Thunder Beast now and it's nice to see that they both have excellent customer service.

Got three of their units. For the Specwar, I had an odd request of them. Lets just say it was not a catalog item. They went out of their way to help and solved my problem. I will always look to them first when I need something else. I believe in voting with your wallet, and your feet.

I'm in the same boat as others, waiting on a can from them and love to continue to hear about their CS. I can't afford another can right now but figure I'll go drop a few pennies on some of their soft gear. A couple t-shirts to hold me over during the wait.

They also fixed my 45 Osprey when they had a bad run of pistons get out. The service was free, fast, and came with some swag! Tshirts make everyone happy.

I also had them do the upgrade to my Spectre suppressor making it have current baffle technology and end caps.

These guys are great! Top Tier Customer Service all around.

It's cool to be able to upgrade suppressors like with your Spectre and Specwar upgrades. It's such a long wait to buy a new suppressor being able to upgrade is nice. I was looking at the Saker mount and it seems like they are supporting all different mounts also.

I have two SILENCERCO/SWR products in ATF jail awaiting pardon, have also been educated by Andrew over the phone. Great company to do buisness with, looking for my dealer to get a specwar in so I can buy one of those as well. Keep up the great work guys and you will only continue to prosper...
