I have had fine luck with the low profile PRS blocks that are not adjustable. As I can't see the alignment of the ports from the inside, I usually put a small conical cut into the lower portion of the block's gas port. I don't enlarge the entire hole, just enough to insure that all the gas from the barrel's port makes it into the system. By leaving the rest of the gas block's hole the size the manufacturer made it, I'm not actually increasing the size of the port...I'm just making sure that any possible mis-alignment is taken care of by the small conical cut.
I think most over and under gassing guns is caused by incorrectly sized ports, or bad ammo (over or under pressure). My guns run just fine without the need for adjustable blocks, YMMV as all guns are their own rule.
