New electronic device for illegal vehicle entry

The future is to keep your anti-theft software licenses and versions up to date just like the antivirus/malware software.
Or disconnect the electric doors and go back to the 'ol key, those who actually have one.

My jeep doesnt have power door locks. I dont even lock the doors. Although I am sure if some idiot decided to break into my jeep they would probably cut the top. The top that is held on with zippers and velcro and wouldnt require cutting it. Or just open the damn doors.

Oh what is that, there is nothing in my jeep. oh steel the jeep, ok whatever I got insurance.

People who keep all kinds of shit in their cars baffles me. Then they get pissed off when their car gets broken into and things get stolen. Ive never kept anything in my cars, but I have walked by cars in parking lots with laptops sitting on the front seats, ipads, shopping bags in the back seat, etc... PRIME targets for thieves.

There's "anti-theft software" for automobiles that the owner can actually update? Huh?!

Yeah, uh, it doesn't quite work that way for the vast majority of automobiles with keyless entry.

That's the bitch right there. My truck only has ( 1 drivers door key lock ) for a 4-door vehicle . from what I hear these days I am even lucky to have a single key lock at all .
There is some Real Nice after market remote entry & start modules out there for sale but they sound just as vulnerable as the OEM modules ??? to this remote hack .

but my vehicle module for my remote Fobs is inactive and I get into my truck with only my KEY manually .
Only one downfall with key entry is the ability for me to let my passengers in 1st before I get to the door. & I always get my shooting gear & hunting gear that I really care about out every night even if it just sitting in my driveway .

The guy at my local stereo/alarm shop told me the aftermarket alarm/remote start/remote entry kits only pulse the factory body control module to open or lock the doors. It would seem that anything that attacks the factory electronics would override an aftermarket system.

I need to get something like that. My toddler keeps hiding my car keys. I was locked out of my car for a month. Then wife found a hidden key. Two days later I'm locked out again. Some of these keys cost a fortune to replace.

Happened to me 3-4 times 3 years ago. I always lock my vehicles and everything else.... Whoever was doing it was opening my truck and searching my center console. He/she got quite a bit of change and some bills the first night but nothing after that.
