New from WV

Just wanted to say hello. Just moved down here from PA. Im in the process of building a long range gun. Hopefully make it out to 1000 yrds . I wanted to build it because Ive been to a 1mile shoot 3yrs in a row now. Just dont have anything to get out that far in the gun cabinet.And I think its awsome to hit something out at that range. They set targets up at 1350 yrds thats what I would be trying for. The gun I am building is a REM 700 sps 300wm .Just bought a AICS 2.0 stock . I am just not real sure what scope or rings to go with . And dont want to go cheap with the scope, just want to get it done before July 4th weekend when we shoot. Ive seen a lot of good threads on here and thought you guys could point me in the right direction. Thanks, Eric
