My build from Short Action Customs

Big thanks to Mark Gordon for my build.

I have about 200 rounds down the tube and it shoots like a laser.
I mixed up a batch of Duracoat to match the AI skins and gave the barreled action a good coat.
Already seen one match at Woody's and looking forward to the PRS match in March.

Thanks. It took a bit of trial and error to get it close. They offer an AI FDE but it is for the legacy skin color.

Sent Mark my Badger M2013 action, AICS chassis and a Bartlein 5r 1:10 blank. He chambered it, cut it to 24" threaded the muzzle 5/8x24 with a smooth "invisible" thread protector.
He married it to the action, action to the chassis and sent me the completed masterpiece.

Mark Gordon builds a helluva rifle, and it's beginning to seem like the M2008/M2013 build market is HIS!

He did a beyond-superb job on mine.

Right at 17 lbs.

Badger actions are tanks, but you don't have to worry about it "flexing". The Whitley Med. Palma barrel is pretty stout as well.

Thanks Locked&loaded. I love the look of those actions and really like the 60* bolt throw. That may be a bit heavier than I want to lug around though. I really appreciate the info!
