Weidman, All American. Plus he has taken down some of the best black belts in the world. Im not betting on a KO however, Silva's camp has made sure that his training includes more defensive measures.
I bet he won't be clowning around like he usually does! I have been waiting for him to get KO'd for a long time. He is a great MMA fighter, no doubt, but I do not care for his antics. J

I'm pulling for Chris again to whoop Silva's ass. I never liked how Anderson played around during fights. I was jacked up when Chris KO'd him last time. I'm thinking Weidman TKO's him on the ground this time in the second or third round.

It's gonna depend on how mentally strong Silva is. If Weidmann is already in Silva's head, its probably over. Silva is a great fighter although arrogant in the ring. If he's not prepared mentally, there will be a repeat. If his heads right, I think he demolishes Weidmann.
Seriously 7 out of 10 guys in my Dojo get fucked up when they try silly shit in the ring. It takes your mind off your technique and strategy when you act absurd just to freak out your opponent. Look at any Pacquiáo fight and it's common for a lot of the Mexican fighters to try this tactic, goofing off or smiling, it doesn't work.
Great card. I think Silva is going throw his old antics out there. It's what he does. I still think he doesn't care and age is probably catching up to him. Weidman only got stronger, mentally tougher, and confident that he CAN win. Silva can win just by his sheer skill. I'm a betting man and don't disagree at all at the odds. But my heart says that Weidman should take this home. He needs to take this to the ground. Silva is "average" with his grappling and wrestling. He's still on a whole different level when it comes to striking though.
I hope like hell that Weidman pounds Silva but I don't think Silva is going to lose the second time, back to back.

That was crazy. Weidman is a stud, but he can't catch a break. Now it's going to be " if Silva wouldn't have broke his leg" he would have won. Either way, whoever won this fight was going to have to face Vitor Belfort. Vitor will come away with the belt.

I think Chris checking the kick and moving the point of impact up andersons leg was the reason, Anderson kicks extremely hard and when he does he also commits to that kick. It opens up opportunity for something like this to happen. It a shame he had to go out like this he a good fighter, I don't like the fact that he show boats so dam bad and did deserved to get beat.
Kinda reminds me of Urijah Faber with his reign until he broke his hand on Browns big ole meat head. A career changing event or injury really screws up these guys momentum. Of course Hose Aldo turned out to be a super force but then Dominick Cruz was awesome too.
Anderson is starting to get up there in age and he might have to change directions a little like the other older top fighters but I still enjoyed the Spiders fighting style more than anyone else I've ever watched!

Downhill skiiers have injuries like that all the time and come back.
I saw fear all over Silva before and during the fight. He was beat before he stepped into the cage. Weidman is a beast.....fearless.
