Triad Tapered Rear Bag

Anyone use the Triad tapered rear bags? Their idea seems good, in reality does it work?

Been using one for the last year or two with several different rifles and stock styles, it adds a additional level of usefulness over a regular pillow or cylinder style rear bag.

Yes. It always seems to "shim in" to the right spot, no matter the range or bipod height. My friend as an accushot monopod, but I don't like it nearly as much. I tried the home made sock, but I always had to fight to get to the right spot. Simple and easy with the triad wedge.

Also, it's small and easy to keep with the rest of your kit. I've seen some bags that look like pillows. I guess they have their uses, but I'll take this wedge anyway!

Going on two years now and it is always in my kit. I have used EVERY rear bag out there and this and my old sock filled with air soft pellets are the best and the only two that made it past 5-6 range trips.

Sounds like a good piece. I have one of the Accushot Monopods it doesn't seem to work for me.

I only seen the small one listed on the web page. I place an order for the small version, before I read there are two sizes. Are you using the larger for the rear?

I use the small for all my traditional bolt action rifles and stocks i.e. McMillan, Sako TRG, H-S, AICS, etc.

I use the large for AR platforms and 50-BMG.

As mentioned earlier, there are uses for both sizes. I recommend two of each, share with a friend and spread the love.

Agree about both. Depending on position, bipod height, whatever, one size doesn't fit all.

I have both, and use the small one a good bit. Honestly it a toss up between the small wedge and the Red Tac small pillow. I really don't use the big wedge all that often.

They make great stuff. I have the tapered bag and the regular rear bag and both are good. just mostly matters what you are used to I would think.

I've been using the small for a couple of years now. It alone works for 90% of my shooting. I wouldn't hesitate to give one a try. It's good kit.

I have both the small and large wedgie bags. I carry both with me every times go shooting. Sometimes I use the little wedgie, sometimes I will use the big wedgie, and sometimes I will use both at the same time. Just depends on how I am shooting.

It works perfectly . Light weight , I have the small one . You won't be sorry , the only thing I'm sorry about is not getting booth sizes at the same time .
