We will be including BPSC's Tactical Steel matches into the Match schedule for the foreseeable future. This has had a good turnout in the past, with a challenging course of fire. As we have hosted this match several times already, we have made improvements that make this a a great event. For those of you that haven't made it out, BPSC has a lot to offer, make the trip out to enjoy these matches.

Match dates are:

19 January
27 April
20 July
26 October

(We are shooting the last steel tact match of 2013 on Sunday 15 Dec, 2013 if you get a chance, come out.)

Target distances are 100-700 yds. Bring good drop data!!

Matches start at 9am, usually there is a 2&3 gun match that is ran starting at noon, so a full day of fun can be had.

We will be reporting the match results in to TRL.

Stages we have included in the past are:
Paper stages

[*=1]Know your Limits- up to 5 Rds
    [*=1]Hostage rescue-2 rds

Live in kirksville and Im going to try and make a couple of these this year. The multi range ftr sounds cool and I have a carbine and pistol so I would like to shoot the 2 or 3 gun match also.

When you say 2-3 gun match what rules do you play by? USPSA, 3 Gun Nation?

Also what type gear is required for the rifle part of the match. Do you have a contact Number I would like to get more information
I am from that area and shoot the 3 Gun matches at the COPS Range near you.

Thanks

I'm going to try to make the jan 19th match. Looks like a good time.

WOW!! This was a great day to be at the range. We had 21 shooters show up, and had a heck of a match. Thanks to all who came out, I will get the match scores posted tomorrow. ( I am wiped out tonight. )

Next Steel Tactical match will be in April.

Thanks for everything. Had a great time. And with Kota finally beating me in a match he is walking tall. Looking forward to the next one. Might bring younger son as this seems like perfect match to break in new members with. And lunch was awesome.

Great match. Thanks for all the work you guys put into it. Had a great time, well worth the drive down!

Here are the scores from yesterday. Thanks again to all for coming. We had a blast.

The TRL Local Match rules and scoring system have not yet been finalized, but here is a reasonable approximation of our results and estimated TRL points for this match. We had 21 shooters, and the match was a great success. We have fine-tuned the stages, so that novices get plenty of hits and feedback, and the experts have a chance to showcase their skills and run up some impressive point totals. Our thanks goes out to all who participated, and a special 'atta-boy' to Matt Bell, son of Brad Bell (PRS competitor) for an impressive performance and a first-place finish.

Yes the match is on for Sunday, April 27th at 9AM !!! Bring all your shooting buddies...the long range forecast is for partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 76 degrees....it should be great. Lots of guys 'warmed up' by participating in the MRMBC match last weekend, so it should be a great match.

This was a blast. Had a great time, with a middle of the pack finish. Congrats to Vanis, who showed us ALL how its done.

Last thing to say, I scored waaaaa-aaaaa-aaaay more points than RiffRaff.

Hagerty, You dog!!! Good shooting!! This match is tuned up and 'ready for prime time' .... Everyone had a great time, and it was a very competitive group... Lots of experienced shooters performing well. Very enjoyable.... See you all next time.
